Background
In September 2021, Sealy® launched their Clean Comfort™ pillow on Costco.com, a memory foam pillow with Surface-Guard Technology™ for antimicrobial protection.
As the Digital Activation Designer for the Alternative Channel at Tempur Sealy International, I worked with the Brand Content Manager and Senior Marketing Manager to create above-the-fold hotspots and below-the-fold banner graphics.
Design Process
Prior to enhanced content creation, I worked with a photography studio to shoot lifestyle and silo photos to be used in the graphics. I provided direction to the studio propping stylist, lighting artist, and photographer. We ensured the props enhanced the Sealy® blue accents on the product, and the bright, crisp light spoke to the "clean" messaging. I produced a shot list to ensure all product angles were captured, to be used in enhanced content.
With this pillow launch, I began to identify elements to be used across all Sealy® digital enhanced content, such as the blue flood, white/blue frame, and Sealy® tag element.
While many icons used were existing in the Sealy® brand guide, I created the hypoallergenic icon specifically for this product launch, ensuring it matched the style and line weights of the existing icons.
